Promoting Tennis as a Rewarding Lifelong Activity

Welcome

Palgrave Tennis Club - Court 1

The Clubhouse began its life around 1840 as a pioneer home.  It then became the gift shop at Blackcreek Pioneer Village.   When the Village reconfigured its entrance, the old structure became redundant whereupon it was transported by huge flatbed trucks to Palgrave where it has served as the clubhouse for the Palgrave Tennis Club since the early 1980’s.

The land on which the Clubhouse and courts sit belongs to the Toronto Regional Conservation Authority, the building is owned by the Palgrave Tennis Club.

In 2011, Palgrave Tennis Club rebuilt two of our courts and resurfaced our other two courts.  This project was made possible through the joint efforts of our volunteers, The Town of Caledon and in particular, funding received from The Ontario Trillium Foundation and the Government of Ontario.

This funding ensures a safe and enjoyable facility for our membership and for hundreds of players that visit our club every summer.
