Palgrave Tennis Club is a community club focused on offering Youth and Adult programs that promote tennis in our community, providing an opportunity for both beginner and experienced players to develop their skills.
Our programs are designed to allow players to grow within a club and encourage a lifetime of tennis, no matter what skill level or age. We are proud of the level of participation we see in our membership and continue to try and offer programs that support our members' needs.
A key component of our program offerings is strong coaching. See below for the Bio on the Coach who works with PTC to deliver our programs and ensure our members receive a high quality, fun program experience.
We are happy to welcome back Andres Findlay
as our Head Coach this season!
My name is Andres Findlay, and I am super excited to be a part of the Palgrave Tennis Club family.
Just as a short introduction about myself, here's a little bit about my tennis journey...
I fell in love with tennis when I was ten years old, the day I decided I would go with my Dad to the courts to see what tennis was all about. He gave me a racket to hit around with him and a friend, and from that moment, tennis changed my life for the better. Tennis has helped me develop some of my closest friendships and relationships, has kept me physically fit, and has provided various work opportunities. I have met and continue to work with incredible people of all ages and walks of life.
I started coaching when I was fourteen years old which gave me a whole new level of appreciation for the game. I have coached at the Brampton Tennis Club, the Bramalea Tennis Club, the Inglewood Racquet Club, and in Palgrave last year. Along with coaching, I graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Education in June 2022.
My goal as your Head Pro is to provide world class coaching, so that everyone can play at their highest level, win more matches, achieve their goals, and have FUN doing it!!

All the best,
We are happy to welcome back Destiny Udofe
as our Assistant Coach this season!
My name is Destiny Udofe, and tennis was a happy accident in my life! I picked up a racquet at the age of 11 just for fun, took a single lesson, and since then have not looked back. Not only does tennis bring me joy, it has been a major blessing in my life, providing many life changing opportunities and memories that will never be forgotten. Tennis was always a great way to meet a lot of amazing new people in my life, and I can 100% say it has created lifelong friendships that I'm grateful for.
I started my coaching journey in my second year of university. It began by shadowing my head coach while on scholarship down in North Carolina, where I would graduate with my bachelors in Biology. At this point in my journey, I was competing, studying and coaching simultaneously which helped develop my skills as a coach.
From there, I would apply what was learnt to my personal lessons. Since then I have had the opportunity to coach for the City of Brampton and now as an Assistant Coach at Palgrave Tennis Club.
My overall priority is to help everyone become a better tennis player, physically and mentally, all while having a great time on and off the court! I'm super excited to be back coaching again at Palgrave!
