2019 Programs
An important objective of the PTC Executive Team is to provide the format of programs, social activities, and tournaments that will get our members involved. A lot of work goes into the planning process for each season, and we hope that this one will have a little something for everyone.
All of our programs are dependent on a minimum number of participants registering and if a program does not have the minimum required to run the program, it may be cancelled and a full refund will be issued. All programs also have a maximum number of participants so sign up early to ensure your spot. At times, we may decide to add additional coaches or sessions to accommodate all interest participants, but a spot in a program is not always guaranteed.
Our Saturday morning youth lessons offer a "Grass Roots" program, but this year we wanted to offer our youth a little more. We will continue with the Kinder Court program for kindergarten aged children. This is not a tennis lesson but will involve lots of games and activities to prepare the children for the lessons when they are ready. Equipment for this program has been purchased from generous donation by the Grey Foundation. We will also continue to offer the very popular Youth Academy for youth players at a competitive level - Invite only by Head Coach.
We will continue to offer PTC Ball Machine rentals, with balls supplied by the Club. There is a one-time seasonal fee, per membership of $60.00. This is a great opportunity for you and your family to practice line drills, or maybe just getting the ball over the net. We will have demonstrations on how these machines work during our Opening Day Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, May 4th 10:00 - 12:00pm.
