Looking to play some singles tennis - make sure to sign up for the Mens, Ladies or Youth Singles Ladders listed on the Registration form. The Ladder boards are posted outside at the clubhouse and once initiated are self administered by the participants.
Guidelines:
New players can join the ladder at any time during the season. They may join in at the bottom of the ladder or challenge any player and e placed in the position above that player, should they win.
Choose carefully – if you loose this first challenge match you will then unfortunately have to start at the bottom of the ladder.
Guidelines:
- Players may challenge anyone else on the ladder, up to and including 2 places above.
- The challenger is responsible for providing reasonable tennis balls for the match - preferably new ones.
- If the winner has the higher position there is no change.
- If the winner has the lower ladder position, he or she takes over the higher position. The loser and all others move down one position.
- Matches are best 2 of 3 sets.
